Pakistan and New Zealand have a go at each other in the first of three Tests in Abu Dhabi on Friday.
Pakistan are favourites, coming into the series confident after a good run in the red-ball game in recent times. In the past year, they’ve trumped Ireland in Ireland, drew a Test series in England and defeated Australia 1-0 in UAE.
New Zealand, on the other hand, have played some competitive cricket on the tour although the results have not gone their way. The big question, however, is if they can apply pressure on Pakistan for more than a day or two to make a contest out of it.
